ABOUT CMD PHILIPPINES

The Center for Microelectronics Development is the joint project of Fastech and FAITH Colleges to create a multi-pronged platform to link academe and industry in electronics research and development activities. CMD had its earlier history starting in January 2012 when six staff and faculty engineers underwent 18-month immersion work in Integrated Circuit (IC) Design with BIT MICRO. The center was established in July 2016 with the first laboratory for Integrated Circuit (IC) Design.

It supports the electronics and semiconductor industry through its electronics engineering program focused on digital and analog microelectronics design.
