FAITH Center for Microelectronics Development (CMD) and Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) Department of Electronics, Computer, and Communications Engineering (ECCE) is set to sign a joint letter of intent aimed to bring a program in advanced studies on Microelectronics Development to the region.
This year, FAITH CMD, in partnership with ADMU, will launch the Master’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering with specialization in Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) design. This off-campus program will be offered this coming A.Y. 2018-2019 at FAITH Colleges, Tanauan, Batangas. Instructors from ADMU are the ones who will conduct the program for the pioneering batch.
Moreover, scholarship grants will be made available for engineers of Fastech and FAITH’s College of Engineering who wish to pursue a Master’s Degree.
This program is designed for working professionals, as classes will be offered during weekends.
According to Fastech President and FAITH CMD Executive Director Mr. Allan A. Timonera, this postgraduate master’s degree scholarship program is one of their initiatives in uplifting the company’s advocacy in education. Equally important, this will usher new technical capabilities for Fastech engineers.
CMD is a project of FAITH Colleges: First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities in partnership with Fastech and the Center of Innovation and Development in Electronics and Allied Services. It supports the electronics and semiconductor industry through its electronics engineering program focused on digital and analog microelectronics design.
